Education Wants to be Free
Welcome to your classroom. You are embarking on an exciting adventure. Sound like an overstatement. Probably. It has been overused I guess, but still I believe that learning things challenges you and empowers you. Isn't that sort of the definition of an adventure. To the left are the portals to that adventure. Feel free to browse through them. We only offer a few now, but the list is growing and after the first of the year, you will notice an explosion of course offerings.

Signing up for a Course

(Note: The Enrollment Key for any free course is vipaccess)

Compared to registering for college, this is a snap. Just follow the steps below.

  1. Click on the course name
  2. If you have not logged in or are not yet registered with the website, you will be taken to a log in page. If you are new, click on the link to create an account and fill in the information. It's only a very few questions and should take only a minute or two.
  3. Check your email for a confirmation link.
  4. Click on the link or paste it into your browser address bar.
  5. You will now have a screen with PayPal information. If this is a free class ignore PayPal and enter the code vipaccess all lowercase into the access code box. That should take you to the site. If not, check your email box for a link to the course page.
  6. If you have chosen a deluxe or premium course, you can use the PayPal link to either pay through your PayPal account or use your credit or debit card to pay for it through a secure server. Just follow the instructions on the screen.

That's all there is to it. It should only take five minutes or so.

Types of Courses

You will notice that most of the courses have three versions. These are: Autopilot, Deluxe and Premium.

Autopilot courses are free. They may be offered either as a self-paced or fixed-paced format. With either format you will not be receiving feedback from the instructor. They also don't provide you with a certificate of completion.

Deluxe courses usually cost between $5.00 and $15.00. These instructor-guided courses give you access to the instructor through email and the course forums. You will also receive feedback on at least two major assignments and a certificate of completion.

Premium courses provide the highest level of instruction and usually are priced between $10.00 - $20.00, but none higher than $50. These include everything from the deluxe course plus feedback on all assignments and possible extra course materials such as videos or podcasts. You will also be given a course completion file in our archives which you can access and have sent to anyone needing to verify course completion. This will include the course outline, your scores for the course, the certificate of completion and up to two assignments chosen by you to include in the file. Just because these are non-credit courses, doesn't mean they might not be valuable for career advancement.

To find out more about any course, click on the course category and you will find the list of courses. Some may have links to other websites with more information about the course and instructor

I look forward to Seeing you in class
